How Renewable Power Reduces Emissions
At Plastipak Lanka, sustainability is action, not a slogan. We have taken a major step by installing a solar energy system at our Sri Lankan facility. Today, 20% of our total power comes from solar, cutting 47.5 tonnes of CO₂ each month. This change reflects our commitment to measurable progress.
Our solar shift is part of a wider plan to reduce reliance on traditional energy sources. The goal is long-term benefit for our operations and the environment. By moving to solar, we reduce costs, improve energy efficiency and support customer sustainability goals.
This change is not only about lower energy bills. It helps us build a future that supports business growth and environmental responsibility. Solar adoption continues to expand across global industries, and we are proud to be part of that momentum.

We believe improvement must be ongoing. We continue exploring new renewable power options across our operations. Cleaner energy benefits our team, our customers and the wider community.
This initiative represents more than a project. It shows how we see the future: responsible, efficient and powered by practical solutions. As other regions adopt similar changes, we will share those updates too. We are proud of our team and welcome like-minded people who share our values.
Every solar panel installed represents progress. One kilowatt at a time, we are building a better path forward. The shift is already happening, and we are committed to leading it.
