To support growing customer demand, we have invested in a new high-speed laminator and two automated bag conversion machines at our Plastipak Lanka facility.
This upgrade increases our leno mesh bag production capacity by an additional one million bags per month, strengthening our ability to support customers across local and export markets.
Our new equipment delivers 33% faster lamination speeds, supported by advanced three-extruder technology, automated bag conversion and real-time machine monitoring. Together, these capabilities provide greater efficiency, consistency and process control.
This significant investment marks another exciting step forward for Plastipak Lanka as we continue expanding our manufacturing capabilities and delivering the reliable supply, quality and service our customers depend on.
